Setting the selected function
→ The two operating buttons can be used to increase/decrease the value or to switch the
selection.
Example: Function 3 (manual adjustment on free path)

The congured value is stored as soon as the function is switched.
→ The value can be displayed again at any time by selecting the corresponding parameter
conguration function and changed if necessary.
Aer the parameterization has been completed (i.e. aer the microwave barrier has been
adapted to the respective medium), the encoding switch must be returned to the "0" posi-
tion and the FDR56 is now ready for operation.
• The device is in operating mode in encoding switch position "0" only. All other positions are
for parameter conguration.
• In parameterization mode, the microwave barrier continues to operate in the background,
and changed settings are taken into account directly.
• Aer completing the settings, set the encoding switch back to the initial position "0" (=
operation).

Select the next switch position if the interference is still present.
The switch positions 5 to F have no function, the operating frequency in these positions
corresponds to switch position 0.
7 Commissioning
The microwave barrier is ready for operation a maximum of 3s aer the supply voltage is
applied.
