OPERATING AND USE
D1 Preliminary information
An appropriate and optimal use of the hay rake is needed not only to prevent damage and/or injury, but is the only way to get the same high performance and to
discover its true potential and performance.
Remember that the rake must be used by trained adult personnel knowledgeable of the instructions in this manual and on the labels. Consequently, he must know
perfectly the instructions in this manual, all those reported on the adhesive labels and all the safety regulations for his and others' safety and to safeguard the
machinery.
Before each start-up of the tractor, it is important to scrupulously follow the precautions described in paragraphs B3, B4 and B5 and the instructions below:
• Ensure all the parts of the rake are in their intended position and are securely fitted;
• Ensure the rake is fitted properly to the tractor;
• Check efficiency of all the protection devices;
• Carry out the daily maintenance checks described in the relative paragraph. Note: should the rake be returned to service after a long period of inactivity, ensure it
has been properly maintained and that it has not been damaged in any way by poor weather or storage conditions.
