System Pressure
Tolerance:
0.9% of transducer span, 600 mbar (8.7 psi), using the Ceramic pressure
transducer, P/N 29945022-S, and EPC, P/N E10-0066, i.e. 5 mbar
(0.08 psi).
Hazardous Area:
The EPC is not rated for hazardous atmospheres. The EPC must be located
in an auxiliary housing that is rated for the hazardous atmosphere in which
it is located.
To maintain the systems FM Approval for hazardous locations, the housing
shall be an FM approved housing from the following:
- Killark XB-10126 or larger XB series housing approved for Class I, Div. 1 &
2, Groups C,D Class l, Zones 1 & 2, Groups llB, llA Class II, Div. 1 & 2,
Groups E,F,G Class III NEMA 7(C,D), 9(E,F,G)
- Killark DB-10106 or larger DB series housing approved for Class II, Div. 1
& 2, Groups E,F,G Class Ill NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 9(E,F,G)
To maintain the systems ATEX Approval the housing shall be an ATE
approved housing supplied by Fike.
