4.3.4.4 BOARD ASSY., SUB
1. Remove the HOUSING, UPPER. (p107)
2. Remove the COVER, CR. (p152)
3. Disconnect the all connectors and FFCs from the BOARD ASSY., SUB.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the BOARD ASSY., SUB to the CARRIAGE,
ASSY., and remove the BOARD ASSY., SUB.

C A U T I O N
Do not disconnect/insert the FFCs from/into the connectors at an
angle. Doing so may damage, short, or break the terminals in the
connector resulting in a breakdown of the elements on the board.
Connect the FFCs to their correct positions matching the
numbers written on the FFCs with those printed on the board
as shown in Figure 4-29 and Table 4-4.
Route the cables of the APG SENSOR (CN4) keeping them
from contact with the spring as shown below.
Secure the grounding terminal of the MOTOR, INK SELECTOR
together with the BOARD ASSY., SUB with the C.B.S. 3 x 6 screw
on the right. See Figure 4-37.
