2.2 Print Mechanism
This section explains the basic specifications of the print head.
NOZZLE CONFIGURATION AND COLORS
This printer is equipped with an MACH print head, which employs 180 nozzles per
color. The printer ejects nine different colors of ink through the eight rows of nozzles.
One of the rows is shared by Photo Black and Matte Black inks.
The nozzle configuration as seen from behind the print head is shown below.
 Printing method: On-demand ink-jet
 Nozzle configuration: 180 nozzles x 8 rows = 1440 nozzles
