7. If your product includes insertable media holding plates, remove the plates from your product. Then
use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water to wipe both sides the media holding plates to clean
them. When you finish, reinstall the media holding plates.
8. Close the front cover, plug in the power cord, and turn the product back on.

Replacing the Waste Ink Bottle
When you see one of these messages on the product's LCD screen, you need to replace the waste ink
bottle:
• Prepare empty waste ink bottle
• Replace waste ink bottle and press OK
