Options Description
Head Alignment Select one of the following when print results are grainy or
out of focus:
Manual(Bi-D): when printing in both directions.
Manual(Uni-D): if the previous setting does not improve
the results.
Heating & Drying Set any of the following:
Heater Temperature: from 86 to 131 °F (30 to 55 °C).
Drying Time Per Pass: from 0.0 to 10.0 seconds. You can
maintain a constant drying time by basing it on the media
width.
After Heater Feed: feeds media to the after heater after
printing (if the media will be cut before the next job starts).
Blank Area Feed: speeds up feeding of blank areas, from
Mode 0 (highest speed) to Mode 3.
Media Suction Set from 0 to 10 to increase the gap between the print head
and thin or flexible media. If print quality is reduced or
media does not feed correctly, you may need to lower the
suction.
Head Movement Selects the range of print head movement:
Data Width: increases print speed by restricting movement
to the printed area.
Printer Full Width: provides more even print results.
Multi-Strike Printing Select the number of times each line is printed, from 2 to 8
(or select Off to disable)
Roll Type Select Printable Side Out or Printable Side In based on
how the media is rolled.
Tension Measurement Selects how often tension is measured and automatically
adjusted:
Periodically: recommended for most media.
Every page: provides more precise tensioning (but slower
printing).
