7 What you must do to avoid other harm
7.1 General
WARNING!
Infections can be transferred through skin contact.
All items/equipment components, with which the user can
come into contact during tanning, must be cleaned and
disinfected after every tanning session:
– Protective goggles
– Acrylic panels
– Handles and control panel
– AUX cable
– Adjustable air nozzles
– Use only EPA registered quaternary ammonium germi-
cidal based detergent solution (follow product label for
use-dilution), such as Lucasol One Step, to clean and
disinfect the tanning system and its components.
7.2 Tanning system
WARNING!
Danger of long-term consequences!
– Overexposure should be avoided.
– The elderly should not use this equipment.
– This sunlamp product should not be used on persons
under the age of 18 years.
– While there is no immediate clinical evidence of UV
exposure and its effects upon expectant mothers, it is
strongly advised that expectant mothers be discoura
ed
from using the tanning unit.
