Installation
Caution: Disconnect power before removing or installing module.
The COMM-3 card plugs into connector P3 on the control module
mother board. Every control module requires a communications card.
Field Wiring
Control module mother board terminal strip TB1 is wired as follows
when a COMM-3 card is installed in mother board connector P3. Data
line 1 is used for Class B wiring, data lines 1 and 2 are both used for
Class A wiring. NO “T” tapping is permitted on the RS-485 Network
Data Lines. A maximum of 32 electrical drops is permitted on any
single RS-485 data line.
