Calibrating the Unit
1) Press the
Select/Control
button to display the
Main Menu.
2) Use the
Scroll
buttons to move to the
Tools
option, Press the

to confirm/select

.
3) Scroll to the
Calibration
option, Press the
Select/Control
button to confirm/select
Calibration.
4) Use the
Scroll
buttons to enter the last

digits of the product
Serial
Number
(see
Tools
/
Info
) one number at a time, each time pressing the
Select/Control
button to
confirm.
5)
Scroll
to either
Control
(to calibrate the
Display
) or to
Glycol
(to calibrate the
Sensor
)
and press the
Select/Control
button to confirm/select
Control
or
Glycol
.
6)
Scroll
to enter the desired
Calibration
offset and press the
Select/Control
button to
confirm/select the
offset
.
7) After a few seconds you will see confirmation of
Calibration
Complete
.
When Calibrating, it is recommended to Calibrate the Control sensor first
and allow time for the system to equilibrate before making any adjustments
to Glycol.
An example of calculating an offset value: Your NIST certified temperature
reading is 3.7 °C, the unit reading is 4.2 °C, the offset would be -0.5 °C.
