3.83.8 CHAIN BAGCHAIN BAG
EXE RISE electric chain hoists come with a PVC-coated 840 nylon chain bag. The chain bag is available in 5
different sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL) depending on the size and length of the chain the hoist is equipped with.

Below, referring to figure 3.11, follows the size and technical specifications of the chain bags, and the maximum
permitted chain length in order not to exceed 75% or 65% capacity of the chain bag.

The chain bag is attached to the frame of the hoist (body) through a special bracket. Positions the bag correctly
depending on the hoists orientation (body up or body down).
The bag is attached to the bracket by means of 2 quick link carabiners compliant with DIN 56927 or DIN 5299
standards or equivalent. These carabiners report the working load limit (WLL).
