What to do if my FBD Beverage Dispenser shows 'Out of Product'?
    • T
      Todd SanchezAug 22, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays an 'Out of Product' message (Water, Syrup, or CO2), ensure that the unit is receiving water, syrup, and CO2. Check that the water is turned on, the CO2 supply is not empty or turned off, and the syrup container is not empty and properly connected. Also, make sure all lines are free of crimps or restrictions. Verify that the pressure readouts (H2O, CO2, and Syrups) are at 70-72 psig and adjust the regulators if needed.

What causes solenoids to be continuously activated in my FBD FBD563 Beverage Dispenser?
    • C
      Colleen WrightSep 4, 2025
If the solenoids in your FBD Beverage Dispenser are continuously activated, it could be due to: * The solenoid plunger not dropping. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid on and off, checking for plunger movement and 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid if necessary. * The solenoid relay being stuck. Test the solenoid relay on the Relay Board for 24VAC output and 5VDC relay coil input. Replace the board if necessary. * A transducer failure. Observe the “Tank Pressure” readouts and check the corresponding transducer. Replace the transducer if necessary.

Why are the solenoids not activating in my FBD FBD563?
    • C
      Chelsea WatersSep 3, 2025
If the solenoids are not activating in your FBD Beverage Dispenser, consider the following: * The solenoid plunger may not be lifting. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid on and off, checking for plunger movement and 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid if necessary. * There may be a Relay Board failure. Test the solenoid relay on the Relay Board for 24VAC output and 5VDC input. Replace the board if necessary. * Connectors may not be plugged in at the board or solenoid. Ensure connections are clean and secure at P7, P8, and the solenoid coils.

What causes a noisy condenser fan in my FBD FBD563 Beverage Dispenser and how to fix it?
    • C
      Chelsea PattersonSep 1, 2025
A noisy condenser fan in your FBD Beverage Dispenser can be caused by: * The fan contacting the condenser, fan blade guard, or another part. Remove the fan guard and adjust the fan up or down as required. Remove any obstructions as necessary, then reinstall the fan guard. * Loose fan bracket fasteners. Tighten any loose fasteners.

How to fix a leaking brix sample valve on my FBD FBD563 Beverage Dispenser?
    • T
      Tami ConleyAug 30, 2025
To fix a leaking brix sample valve on your FBD Beverage Dispenser: * Turn off the CO2, water, and disconnect the syrup. Depressurize by opening the sample valve. Remove the clamp from the sample valve, then remove the sample valve. Change the o-ring and washer and reinstall. * If the inside of the solution module is scratched or damaged, replace the solution module.

What causes product to leak from the rear of the cold pack in my FBD Beverage Dispenser?
    • D
      Donna ChambersAug 29, 2025
If product is leaking from the rear of the cold pack in your FBD Beverage Dispenser, it may be caused by: * A worn or damaged beater drive seal, which should be replaced. * A worn beater drive coupling, which should be replaced. * A seal that is not positioned correctly. From inside the chamber, reseat the seal, making sure it is flush with the back of the chamber.

How to troubleshoot low water pressure in my FBD FBD563?
    • H
      Holly LeAug 27, 2025
To troubleshoot low or no water pressure in your FBD Beverage Dispenser: * Ensure the water is turned on and check for any line restrictions. * Make sure the CO2 is turned on and verify the “CO2 Press” readout is 70-72 psig. * Verify the “H2O Pressure” readout is at 70-72 psig. Check the water pressure transducer and replace it if needed. * Check the water pump and replace it if necessary.

Why is my FBD FBD563 chamber filling even when it's turned off?
    • D
      Donald CortezAug 27, 2025
If the chamber of your FBD Beverage Dispenser is filling even when turned off, it could be due to: * A solution solenoid plunger sticking. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid, if necessary. * A solution solenoid being energized. Test the solenoid relay on the relay board for 24VAC output and 5VDC relay coil input. Replace the Relay Board, if necessary. * The solution solenoid left “ON” in “Manual”. In “Manual On/Off”, turn the solenoid off.

What to do if product does not flow freely from the dispensing valve of my FBD FBD563?
    • J
      jack25Aug 25, 2025
If product isn't flowing freely from your FBD Beverage Dispenser's dispensing valve, consider the following: * Inspect the CO2 check valve and clean or replace it if faulty. * In “Manual On/Off”, energize the CO2 and solution solenoid valves and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid if necessary. * Run a defrost cycle if there are ice particles in the dispensing valve. If necessary, open and close the dispensing valve several times or run warm water over the valve. * Check water/syrup flow rates and brix if the product in the cylinder is frozen too hard or solid. Adjust if necessary.
