If the alignment of the spindle appears incorrect at 45° , then you will need to make
an adjustment to the 45° stop on the tilt-controlling spindle / axle. The stop is shown
in figure SH03.1 and requires loosening with an allen key to be able to then turn it to
the required position. Tighten
the allen screw to secure it and return the shaper to
45°. Check the new alignment and re-adjust as necessary.
