2.3.2 Connecting the output module to the node
CAUTION
Use CP cable type KVI-CP-1-... for connecting the
output module to the node.
Please note that the maximum cable length
of a string must not exceed 10 m.
You thereby avoid:
– errors in data exchange between the node and the
connected output module.
Connection to the node and the necessary operating
voltage for the internal electronic components is sup-
plied by means of the CP cable.
The output module is connected directly to the CP con-
nection on the node.
Maximum one input module can be connected to each
string. The address range that a module occupies is
determined by the string to which it is connected when
the operating voltage is switched on.
