1.3.2 Connecting the input module to the node
CAUTION
•
Use the CP cable type KVI-CP-1-... to connect
the input module to the node.
•
Please note that the maximum cable length
on a string must not exceed 10 m.
You thereby avoid:
– errors in data exchange between the node and the
connected input modules.
By means of the CP cable the module is supplied with
the following:
– operating voltage for the internal electronic compo-
nents
– operating voltage for the connected sensors
– connection for data exchange.
