The key feature of this function is
Bluetooth
®
phone communication
with voice recognition and Bluetooth
®
technology. This system allows you to
make and receive phone calls using
voice commands or manual controls
on the steering wheel in complete
safety, freedom and comfort while
driving, in full compliance with the
requirements of the law.
Bluetooth
®
technology allows you to
use your mobile phone through the
hands-free system of the car, without
the need for wires.

To use the hands-free function, a
mobile phone with Bluetooth
®
is
needed. This function allows you to
interact vocally with your mobile phone
while driving, even if your phone does
not have this feature.
You can interact with your mobile
phone manually and visually using the
steering wheel controls and the
instrument panel display.
Pairing is an operation that has to be
carried out only once.
NOTE for versions/markets, where
provided, if the phone supports this
function, you can listen to music from
the phone via Bluetooth
®
streaming
and manage it only through the phone.
NOTE when pairing a new mobile
phones, the system will search for a
Bluetooth
®
mobile phone within its
operating range.
It then establishes the connection
using a Personal Identification Number
(PIN).
Once the mobile phone has been
paired, you can transfer its contacts to
the system, make a phone call using
the contacts or by saying a phone
number, accept a call and answer a
second incoming call.
You can use both the steering wheel
controls and voice recognition to
interact with the system.
With voice recognition, you can
perform system functions by giving
voice commands which are recognised
by the system.
When the system recognises a voice
command, it will respond with the
appropriate action.
When the vehicle is moving, you can
only use the steering wheel controls or
voice commands to interact with the
phone functions.
To activate settings functions when
travelling you can only use voice
commands.
The hands-free function allows the
following operations to be performed:
❒ Call a phone number by voice
command - you can dial a phone
number by saying the numbers out
loud.
