TIPS ON USING
MULTIMEDIA FOLDERS
Scrolling
❒ To optimise scrolling the FOLDERS
menu, organise the folders in the
USB device before connecting it to
the system. To facilitate and
optimise selecting from the
FOLDERS menu, organise the
songs into folders with meaningful
names.
Organising media files
❒ To allow you to select music on the
basis of certain criteria (author,
album, genre, etc.), the information
in the multimedia files must be
catalogued and up to date. To
update the information for each file,
follow the instructions in the
documentation for your multimedia
file management software.
❒ If the library contains items without
Artist, Album, Title and Genre
information, the system will display
UNKNOWN in the ALBUM and
GENRES menus. To enter
information in a digital audio file,
follow the instructions in the
documentation for your multimedia
file management software.
Creating multimedia
libraries on the system
❒ Creating a multimedia library may
require several minutes. If it takes
too long to create the library, you
can reduce the number of audio
files saved on your USB device.
❒ You will still be able to listen to a
selection of songs while the library
is being created.
The system will continue to create
the library while it is playing music.
