❒ Calling someone in the contacts
using voice commands - you can
use your voice to call someone in
your mobile phone contacts. You
can also call someone in your
contacts by selecting from those
that appear on the instrument panel
display.
(This function requires your phone
directory to have been copied onto
the car hands-free system).
❒ Accept a call -
you can accept an incoming call by
pressing the button on the
steering wheel.
❒ Reject a call -
you can reject a call by pressing the
button on the steering wheel.

TEXT MESSAGE READER
(only available with
mobile phones that
support this function)
Using vocal synthesis technology, the
text message reader can automatically
read the messages received by your
Bluetooth
®
mobile phone through the
audio system in your car.
The text message reader functions are
managed with the steering wheel
controls or the voice commands.
The text message reader allows
you to:
❒ Be notified by a message on the
instrument panel display that your
Bluetooth
®
mobile phone has
received a new text message; the
number/name of the sender is
displayed and the system will also
ask if you want it to read the
message to you.
❒ Manage the text message inbox on
the mobile phone connected to the
system.
❒ Re-read text messages that have
already been received and stored.

READER QUICK GUIDE
(only for mobile phones
that support this
function)
If the Bluetooth
®
phone supports this
function, the system notifies you with
an acoustic signal when you receive a
new text message and asks you if you
want to read it.
❒ Say “Yes” or press SRC/OK - the
system will read the last message
received.
❒ Say “No” or press the ^/
button - the system will store the
message so that you can read it
later.
