TEXT MESSAGE READER
FUNCTIONS
(only for mobile phones
that support this
function)
If the Bluetooth
®
mobile phone
supports the text message reader
function, the system will notify you with
an acoustic signal when you receive a
new text message and ask you if you
wish to read it (according to the
notification options set).

If you want the system to read
the text message received with
manual interaction, press
SRC/OK.
If you do not want to read the SMS
message, press
^/ ;
the system will not read the
message but save it so that it can
be read another time.

Or, using voice interaction: if you
say “Yes”, the system will read
the message, considering any
abbreviations, while if you do not
want to read the message, just
say “No”. In this case the system
will save it so you can read it
later.
READ LAST MESSAGE
RECEIVED
When a text message is received,
whether it is read or not, the system
will save it to an inbox (refer to the
Inbox section).

If you want to read the last
message received using manual
interaction, press = to activate
the Main Menu, select MSG
READER and then press
SRC/OK.
Select READ LAST and then
press SRC/OK.

} and say “Read last”; the
system will read the text of the
last message received.
