Radio Uconnect
❒ When the mobile phone asks for it,
use the mobile phone keypad to
enter the PIN shown on the
instrument panel display.
If pairing is successful, the system
will say “Connecting” and at the
end the display will show, as
confirmation, the ID of the paired
mobile phone.
It is important to wait for this
confirmation message. If you press
SRC/OK or
^/ before it appears,
you risk cancelling the pairing
procedure. If pairing fails, an error
message appears and you will have to
repeat the procedure.
❒ You can recognise the system by
the name: “Radio BT”. When you
have completed the pairing
procedure, the system asks if you
want to copy the contacts from the
mobile phone that you have just
paired.
We recommend copying the
contacts. To proceed with the
copying, say “Yes”. If you do not
want to copy the phonebook, say
“No”.

❒ In some mobile phones, the names
in the contacts are not copied
automatically, but you must use the
keypad on the mobile phone to
transfer them. Carry out this
procedure if the system asks you
to, following the dedicated
instructions on your mobile phone
and press when it is complete.
❒ By selecting the PHONE SEL or
AUDIO BT SEL menu, you can
access the list of connected
devices, which are identified by “*”
after the corresponding phone
number.
NOTE: To ensure correct operation
after updating the phone software, we
recommend removing the phone from
the list of devices paired to the radio,
deleting the previous system pairing
from the available Bluetooth device list
on the phone and pairing it again.

MAKING A PHONE CALL
Assuming that “John” is one of the
names stored in your contacts,
proceed as following to call this
contact:
❒ Press the
}
steering wheel control
and say “Call John”.
❒ If the system recognises the name
John, it will display the relative
information.
If there is only one phone number for
John in the contacts, the system will
ask if you want to call John.
To make the call, say “Yes”; otherwise,
say “No”.
If, however, there several phone
numbers for John, the system will ask
which one you want to call (e.g. “Call
John, home, work, mobile or other?”).
Answer with the type of phone number
that you want (e.g. “Home”).
