TEXT MESSAGES
The system stores up to 20 received
messages (although if there are
concatenated messages, the number
of messages stored may be less)
during the connection with your
Bluetooth
®
mobile phone. When the
inbox is full, if a new message is
received the oldest message will be
deleted even if it has not been read
yet. The messages in the list can be
deleted individually or all together
(refer to the Managing SMS messages
paragraph).

If you want to read a specific
message that has been saved
using manual interaction, activate
the Main Menu pressing = and
select the option MESS. READER
and then press SRC/OK.
Select the option MESSAGE LIST
and then press SRC/OK. Scroll
through the saved messages until
you reach the one you want; the
system will display information on
the identity of the sender of the
message, where available.
Select READ and press SRC/OK,
the system will read the text
message selected.

Or, using voice interaction:
Press
}
and say “Message
reader”; after the acoustic signal
say “Received messages”; the
system will display the information
for the first message in the inbox
on the display (if it is in the
contacts, the text message
sender’s number will be
displayed).
You can scroll trough the inbox
by saying “Previous” or “Next”;
when the desired message is
displayed, say “Read”:
the system will read the selected
text message.
Say “Delete” to delete the
selected message.
MANAGING SMS
MESSAGES
For each SMS message received, the
system allows you to:
read it
delete it
make a call.

while the message is being read,
press = to activate the Main
Menu and use the SRC/OK
button to select the desired
function.

(where provided) or “Delete”; the
system will select the chosen
option.
