INPUT
the monitor and the POWER

Depress and release the
"INPUT"
button (button remains in the
depressed state) to view the cam-
eras,

Trip Computer information, and
Navigation System.

INPUT button should always be
set
to
"INPUT CAM-
ERA" posHion, button depressed. There is
no
AUX
INPUTS provided with the system so
if
the INPUT
button
is
released (INPUT
AUX
position)
no
Image
will be provided
on
the monitor.
DIMMER
VOLUME
Nonnally the DIMMER button is
kept in the released position
(DAY
mode). When you view the
monitor at night or in a dark
ambient condition such as a tun-
nel, depress the DIMMER button
to make the picture less bright
(NIGHT mode).
To
return to
DAY mode press and release the
DIMMER button.
This is the volume control for the
audio from the rear (back-up)
camera.
CONTRAST
To
adjust the contrast
of
the mon-
itor image to desired levels.
BRIGHT
To
adjust the brightness
of
the
monitor image to desired levels.
The dash monitor operates in two modes,
"secu-
rity"
and "drive". When in the "security" mode
the display will scan through the exterior cam-
eras (back-up, road side, door side) and continue
scanning. When in the
"drive" mode (ignition
key
"ON") the user can toggle through the
images for the back-up camera (with TripTek
superimposed), Navigation System, inside cam-
era, door side camera, and road side camera.
There are two ways to enter
"security" mode.
One method is after the ignition has been turned

from "ON" to "OFF" press and hold the "up"
side
of
the "VIDEO VALET" rocker switch.
Once the display image appears release the
switch. The display should now be scanning
through the outside cameras.
If
no image
appears assure the monitor is
"ON". The second
method occurs automatically when there have
been no presses
of
a "VIDEO VALET" rocker
switch for five minutes .
There are also two ways to enter the
"drive"
mode
or
otherwise stop the scanning. One
method is simply place the ignition key in the
"ON" position. The second method is when the
monitor is in the
"security" mode (scanning),
press either side
of
the "VIDEO VALET" rocker
switch. After the scanning has stopped the
"VIDEO VALET" rocker switch can be used to
move up and down through the images.

The information from TripTek will be superimposed
on
the back-up camera screen for approximately 90 min-
utes after the ignition key has been set to the
"OFF"
position.
BEDROOM MONITOR (OPTION)
The bedroom monitor will display the outside
cameras when in the security mode and all cam-
eras (one at a time)
or
the Navigation System or
the
TripTekTM
System when in the drive mode.
The bedroom monitor has four front panel con-
trols: Power, Menu, Dimmer/+, Inputl-.
POWER
MENU
Depress and release the
"POWER" button to turn the
monitor
"ON" (picture appears
on the monitor).
To
turn the mon-
itor
"OFF" (picture undisplayed)
depress and release the
"POWER" button.
The
MENU button allows the
user to manually adjust the dis-
play settings. Each time you
depress and release the
"MENU"
