Manufacturers and dealers are not liable for dam-
age resulting from use outside of intended use.
This applies particularly to damage resulting from
non-adherence to the safety instructions, e.g., in
terms of:
• Using the bike on difcult terrain, for high
jumps, downhill or for aggressive bike park use
• Extremely steep declines
• Overload
• Incorrect remedying of defects
Your FLYER Uproc is not designed to withstand
extreme use, i.e. steep declines, performing tricks
and stunts or jumping higher than 30 cm. FLYER
e-bikes are not licensed for use in competitions
and contests.
7.1 Responsible MTB riding
When using your FLYER MTB, ensure that you
ride responsibly, respecting nature, the environ
-
ment and other people. As a result of your consid-
erate behaviour, nature is preserved as a location
for you to enjoy your sport and your interaction
with other users will remain conict-free.
Therefore, please observe the following rules:
• You must ride only on designated area, and
keep nature from being damaged. Comply
with any route closures and cycling bans and
respect nature and wildlife conservation areas,
as these are imposed for a good reason.
• Except in emergency situations, you should not
brake by locking your wheels as this causes
soil erosion and damage to paths and routes.
• Ride under control, with care, and at an ap
-
propriate speed. You should always be able
to stop within the range of your vision, in case
obstacles, other riders or pedestrians should
suddenly appear.
• Call attention to your presence when you are
looking to pass others on paths and routes.
Do not startle them, but rather ride past them
slowly, or stop.
• Respect grazing animals and wild animals in
woodland and meadows. Do not leave any
eld or meadow gates open and once dusk
has fallen do not ride through woodland, so as
to avoid disturbing the peace of animals forag
-
ing for food.
• Plan your trip carefully and take weather fore
-
casts into account. Assess your own abilities
properly, taking them into account when select
-
ing your route, and take the appropriate equip-
ment with you. This includes tools, food and
drink and a rst-aid kit for unforeseen situa
-
tions. For your own safety you should wear the
appropriate equipment (helmet, protectors).
• Do not leave any litter behind you.
You should always wear protectors
and a helmet for your safety.
