security label that provides important
vehicle key cut information. Keep the label
in a safe place for future reference.
Programming a New Remote
Control
You can program your own integrated
keyhead transmitter or standard
SecuriLock coded keys to your vehicle. See
Passive Anti-Theft System (page 58).
Reprogramming the Unlocking
Function
Note: When you press the unlock button
only the driver and passenger doors are
unlocked. Pressing the unlock button again
unlocks all the doors. This is the default
setting. See Locking and Unlocking (page
53).
Press and hold the unlock and lock buttons
on the remote control simultaneously for
at least four seconds with the ignition off.
The direction indicators will flash twice to
confirm the change.
To return to the original unlocking function,
repeat the process.
Replacing the Battery
The remote control uses one coin type
three volt lithium battery CR2032 or
equivalent.
Note: Refer to local regulations when
disposing of transmitter batteries.
Note: Do not wipe off any grease on the
battery terminals or on the back surface of
the circuit board.
Note: Replacing the battery will not delete
the transmitter from the vehicle. The
transmitter should operate normally.

3. Insert the new battery. Refer to the
instructions inside the transmitter for
the correct orientation of the battery.
Press the battery down to make sure
it is fully in the housing.
4. Snap the battery cover back onto the
transmitter.
