SECTION 4 - COMPONENT TEAR DOWN
Motor Control Assembly
The motor control assembly is located in the front right
corner of the washer base behind the front panel.
To remove the motor control assembly:
1. Disconnect the washer from electrical source and remove
the front panel.
2. Remove the single screw securing the assembly to the
base with a #2 square bit screwdriver.
3. Grasp the top of the assembly and it away from the side
panel to disengage retaining tabs on the back side of the
housing.

IMPORTANT
If unit has motor control board housing with harness
retention feature on top, DO NOT route harness through
upper retention feature.

Refer also to tech/data sheet wiring diagrams in Section 6:
• J6 - ground terminal
• J8 - user interface (console harness) terminal
• J3 - lid lock terminal
• J4 - water valves terminal
• J2 - drain pump terminal
• J1 - motor control power terminal
• J5 - drive motor terminal

NOTE
To reinstall the motor control assembly, insert the front
edge under the lip of the base mount and tip backward to
engage the rear retaining tabs.
