SECTION 4 - COMPONENT TEAR DOWN
Drive motor
The drive motor is held in place on the leg and dome
assembly with three bolts The motor is isolated with the use
of a plastic base and plastic collars around the mounting
bolts. The motor is NOT not grounded.
To remove the drive motor:
1. Disconnect the washer from electrical source and remove
the front panel, motor control assembly, drive motor
shield, and drive belt.
2. Disconnect each wire terminal from the motor.
3. Remove all three motor mounting bolts with a 5/16-inch
socket and ratchet.

IMPORTANT
When reinstalling the motor, ensure each of the mounting
bolts are installed correctly with the ground isolating collars.
IMPORTANT
When reinstalling the motor, ensure the locating pin on the
motor base has inserted completely into the mounting plate
before tightening any of the three mounting bolts.
