Entering Numbers for Calls over Fixed Lines
Perform the following steps:
1. Select the “Telephony” menu command.
2. In the “Telephony Settings” window, select the “Fixed-
line numbers” option.
3. Enter here the numbers you received from the tele-
phone provider of your fixed-line network.
4. Click the “Apply” button.
Assigning Internet and Fixed-Line Numbers to the
Extensions
According to the basic configuration settings, all terminal de-
vices connected react to all incoming calls at the same time.
To ensure that the connected terminal devices react only to
certain numbers, assign the Internet and fixed-line numbers
to the different FRITZ!Box Fon extensions.
Perform the following steps:
1. Select the “Extensions” option in the “Telephony” win-
dow.
2. Select a number from the “Number of the extension”
drop-down menu in the “Extensions FON1” area. The
terminal device connected to the “FON1” extension re-
acts to incoming calls placed to this number and uses
the kind of connection specified for outgoing connec-
tions with this number.
3. From the “Additional numbers” drop-down menu, se-
lect any other numbers to which the terminal device at
the “FON1” line should react for incoming calls.
4. To ensure that the terminal device at the “FON1” exten-
sion reacts only to incoming calls to the specified
numbers, deactivate the option “React to all numbers”.
5. Configure the “Extension FON2”.
6. Click the “Apply” button.
