8 FRITZ!Box Fon – 1 This Is FRITZ!Box Fon
FRITZ!Box Fon provides fixed-line and Internet telephony for
two analog terminal devices. For Internet telephony over
DSL, FRITZ!Box Fon uses the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP).
This manual contains information about installing, configur-
ing and operating FRITZ!Box Fon.
1.1 Package Contents
The box contains:
z FRITZ!Box Fon
z one AC power adapter with cable for connection to the
mains power supply
z one 4-meter DSL cable (black or grey) for connecting
FRITZ!Box Fon to the DSL splitter
z one 4-meter ISDN/analog cable (black) for connecting
FRITZ!Box Fon to the ISDN Network Terminator (NT) or
the analog telephone line
z one USB cable (white) for connecting FRITZ!Box Fon to a
computer with a USB interface
z one network cable (red) for connecting FRITZ!Box Fon to
a computer or network hub
z one RJ45-RJ11 adapter (gray) for the DSL line (needed in
some countries)
z one RJ45-RJ11 adapter (black) for analog telephone lines
z one FRITZ!Box Fon CD with
