2.10 Emergency procedure
2.10.1 Overheating of the system
If the system overheats and the safety devices fail, proceed as follows:
NOTICE! Do not under any circumstances switch off the main switch or disconnect the
power supply.
Keep all the doors on the boiler closed
Switch boiler off by tapping “Boiler OFF”
Open all mixing valve taps, switch on all pumps.
The Froling heating circuit control performs this function in automatic operation.
Leave the boiler room and close the door
Open any available radiator thermostat valves
If the temperature does not drop:
Contact the installer or Froling customer services

2.10.2 Smell of flue gas
DANGER
If you smell flue gas in the boiler room:
Inhaling toxic flue gas can be fatal!
If you smell flue gas in the room where the boiler is installed:
Keep all the doors on the boiler closed
Shut down the boiler according to procedure
Ventilate the room where the boiler is installed
Close the fire door and doors to living areas
Recommendation: Do not install smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors near
the system.
