If your Frymaster Fryer isn't heating, check that the main power cord and the 120V are fully connected and locked into their receptacle and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. If it still fails to heat, the controller or other components may have failed.

Why is the oil return very slow when the filter pump is running on my Frymaster Gen III LOV Fryer?
    • T
      Tyler FarmerAug 31, 2025
Slow oil return could be due to improperly installed or prepared filter pan components. Remove the oil from the filter pan and replace the filter pad/paper, ensuring that the filter screen is in place under the pad/paper. Verify, if using a pad, that the rough side is facing up and that O-rings are present and in good condition on the filter pan connection fitting. Also, the pre-filter screen may be clogged and need cleaning.

What does it mean when my Frymaster Gen III LOV Fryer M4000 displays 'IS VAT FULL? YES NO' after filtration?
    • J
      Jeffrey AndersonAug 30, 2025
This message indicates a filter error. This can occur due to a dirty or clogged filter pad or paper, a clogged pre-filter, improperly installed filter pan components, worn or missing O-rings, cold oil, or a tripped filter motor thermal.

Why won't auto filtration start on my Frymaster Gen III LOV?
    • D
Dr. Kristen Terry MDAug 27, 2025
