Adding a User Account
This section explains how to add a new user account in the administrator mode.
A maximum of 32 user accounts can be registered on the V9 series unit.
1. Press the [Add] switch.
Enter a user name and password to add.
A maximum of 16 one-byte alphanumeric characters (case sensitive) can be used for a user name
or password.
* When permitting access to a certain security level, set a user name and password
within eight one-byte alphanumeric characters.
* The user name must be unique.
* The same password can be set for multiple users.
To grant administrator privileges, select the [Grant administrator privileges.] checkbox.
* For details on administrator privileges, refer to “Administrator privileges” (page 1-11).
2. In the [Detail Settings] tab window, select whether or not to allow the user to access a certain
security level, VNC server, or FTP server.
* For details on each function, refer to the V9 Series Reference Manual 2.
3. Press the [Apply] or [OK] switch. The set user account is added to the list.
