*1 The number of characters that can be input depends on the authentication method specified for the wireless
LAN.
The following characters can be used.
• Hexadecimal: 0 to 9, A to F
• Text: One-byte alphanumeric characters and symbols (case sensitive)
6-3. Select AP to Connect
The [Select AP to Connect] tab window on the WLAN Setting screen allows you to display information
of nearby access points and connect to an access point.
The SSID, key index and keys of up to 10 access points with which connection has been established
before are stored.
(Note that access point information is not stored for connections where [Authentication] is set to [Open
System] and [Encryption Level] is set to [NONE].)
* The [Select AP to Connect] tab window is available when [Operation Mode] is set to [Station] in the
[Wireless Setting] tab window on the WLAN Setting screen.
