Removing the Feed Roll and Nudger Roll
IMPORTANT:
• Before replacing the feed roll and nudger roll, clean the inside of the printer if it is very dirty.
• When the optional 550 sheet feeder is installed on the printer, be sure to remove it before beginning the replacement. For
details, see "Removing the Optional 550 Sheet Feeder" on page 281.
1 Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
IMPORTANT:
• If the optional hard disk unit is not installed on your printer, note that the data in the memory are cleared when the printer
is turned off.
2 Pull the tray out of the printer about 200 mm.
3 Hold the tray with both hands, and remove it from the printer.
4 Hold the printer with both hands, and gently rotate the printer onto its left side.
