Control of t
he LCD monitor requires: a display adapter (screen controller) with a VGA interface, or a
digital di
splay adapter with a DVI interface, or a video signal source with a DisplayPort interface.
The monito
r processes the data supplied to it by the display adapter. The display adapter o r the
associat
ed driver software is resp onsible for setting the modes (resolution and refresh rate).
When putt
ing the monitor into operation for the first time, the screen display should b e
optimal
ly adapted to the d isplay adapter used and adjusted in accordance with your
