● BS2000 server as the generic term for SE server, S and SQ server. BS2000 servers
are operated with the relevant BS2000 operating system.
● S server for the Business Servers of the S Series (/390 architecture)
● SQ server for the business servers of the SQ Series (x86 architecture)
● BS2000 for the BS2000 OSD/BC operating system in compound nouns, e.g. BS2000
system.
1.5 Open Source Software
The Linux-based operating systems X2000 and HNC which are installed on the Server Unit
x86, Management Unit and HNC contain Open Source Software. The licenses for this can
be found in the LICENSES directory on the relevant installation DVD.
