7.1 Switches
One switch is used in the basic configuration of the SE server SE300. By default the
SE servers SE700 and SE500 have two redundant switches.
Brocade ICX 6450 models are employed.
● ICX 6450-24 with
– 24 copper ports (10/100/1000 Mbps)
– 4 optical ports (SFP+; 1 oder 10 Gbps uplink ports, stacking-capable)
● ICX 6450-48 with
– 48 copper ports (10/100/1000 Mbps)
– 4 optical ports (SFP+; 1 oder 10 Gbps uplink ports, stacking-capable)
i Currently maximum transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbps are supported. Future exten-
sions of the Net Unit will support up to 10 Gbps.
