Apply the heat-conducting paste

Do not mix different types of heat-conducting paste.

If the kit for a processor upgrade or a processor replacement contains a new heat sink, a
thin layer of heat-conducting paste will already be applied to the underside of the heat sink.
In this case, no more heat-conducting paste will be required on the processor.

A syringe with heat-conducting paste (FTS FSP code no.: P304000004) contains a sufficient amount
of paste for replacing 3 processors. On the side of the syringe, there are three short and three long
markings.
► Use the amount of heat-conducting paste between two long markings on the syringe (about 0.7
grams) each time you replace a processor.
