1.2.3.2 Fibre Channel Connection (FC-AL Connection) for Windows
The following procedure explains how to connect the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2 to a Windows server with an FC-
AL connection (direct connection to a server).
Workflow
Making a Check before Starting the Procedure
Check the environment (operating system, backup software, and HBAs) of the server to be
connected to the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2.

Perform the settings for the LT20 S2/LT40 S2/LT60 S2.
IMPORTANT
Change the topology setting to "Point to Point" or "Arbitrated Loop". Set fixed values for the link
speed and the Loop ID.
