System shutdown
It is mandatory to perform a shutdown, if the System will be shipped.
To start a Spheras shutdown, select
RAID Controllers -> Configuration -> - Controller Actions.
If you are shutting down the system for a long time (i.e. more than 68 hours),
you must first ensure that the controller backup battery unit (BBU) is electrically
disconnected from the controller.
To do this, click the
Prepare for Controller Shutdown
button.
The controller is now in a position to distinguish between a power failure and a
deliberate user shutdown.
