Connecting extern al devices
Read the d ocu m entation on the external device before connecting it.
With the exception of U SB devices, always remove all power plugs
before connecting external devices!
Do not connect or discon nect cables during a thunderstorm.
Always take hold of the actual plug. Never unplug a cable by pulling the cab le itself.
Connect and disconnect the cables in the order described below.
Connecting the cables
► Turn off all power and equipment switches.

► Remove all power plugs from the grounded mains outlets.
► Connect all the cables to the device and the external devices. Please make sure that you
always observe the safety notes provided in "
Important notes", Page 4 - English.
► Plug all data communication cab les into the appropriate sockets.
► Plug all power cables into the g rounded mains outlets.
USB devices are hot-pluggable. This means you can connect and disconne ct
USB cables while your device is switched on.

► Disconnect all of the cables from the device and from the external devices.
