Disabling TPM
• Requirement: You have set a supervisor password, see "Security functions", Page 60.
► C all up the BIOS S e tup and select the Security menu.
► Mark the TPM Security Chip Setting field and press the Enter key.
► Select Disabled to deactivate the TPM.
► From the Exit menu, choose the option Exit Saving Changes.
► Press the Enter key and select Yes.
Your notebook will now restart and TPM will be disabled.
Enabling password input by the touchscreen (OnScreen
keyboard for Bitlocker password)
If TPM is enabled, you can enable an O nScreen keyboard for the internal touchscreen in the BIO S:
► C all up the BIOS Setup and select the Advanced menu.
► Mark Boot Configurations and press the Enter key.
► From UEFI Boot On-Screen Keyboard select Enable or Disable.
► Select the Exit Saving Changes option in the Exit menu.
► Press the Enter key and select Yes.
The notebook will restart and the password prompt will be shown.
The OnScreen keyboard will b e activated by tapping in the password field.
