8 HDD modules
V CAUTION!
Follow the safety instructions in the chapter “Safety instructions” on
page 13.
The server can accommodate two further hard disk drive modules (HDDs)
instead of the DVD drive. To do this, you need a conversion kit consisting of the
following parts:

Ê Open the server as described in chapter “Preparation” on page 19.
1 Backplane for up to 8 HDDs
2 Second SAS cable
3 Dummy HDD (for possible empty drive tray)
4 Drive cage for up to two additional HDDs
