8.1.2.2 Adding new fans
Ê Open the server (see "Opening/Closing the server" on page 125).
Ê Insert the new fan modules in the empty slots until they engage. To make
sure the fan has engaged press again.
The new fan module is tested by Server Management. The LED then either
does not light at all (fan is OK) or lights up (fan is not ok).
Ê Close the server (see "Opening/Closing the server" on page 125).
