Replacing the intrusion switches

Ê Remove the two screws (see circles).
Ê Take out the intrusion switch inward.
Ê Take the intrusion switch cable out of the cable clamp.
V CAUTION!
Note the cable routing.
Ê Remove the defective intrusion switch cable from the connector on the
system board (see the Technical Manual of the system board).
Ê Plug the new intrusion switch cable to the connector on the system board
(see the cabling plans in the Options Guide).
Ê Route the intrusion switch cable as before.
Ê Position the intrusion switch with the button on the front side and fasten it
with two screws (see circles in figure 17).
Ê Push the other intrusion switch in the mounting bracket until it clicks in.
Ê Reinstall the front cover or the rack front cover, close the server and connect
all power plugs (for a detailed description see the Options Guide).
