2.2.2.3 Grounding
The SPARC Enterprise M3000 server is shipped with a grounded type (three-wire
type) power cable. Always connect the power cables to grounded power outlets.
Contact the facilities manager or a qualified electrician to determine what type of
power is supplied to your building.
2.2.3 Checking the Installation Location
When installing the server, consider not only the device size but also the sizes of the
required service areas (maintenance areas). For details, refer to the SPARC Enterprise
M3000 Server Site Planning Guide.
