Features
The FA-40 receives navigation and ship data from ships equipped with AIS (Automatic Identifica-
tion System) transponder.
The main features are:
• Meets the following regulations: IEC 62287-1, IEC 62287-2 (parts of receiver)
• Capable of initial setting from the TZTL12F/15F (software version: 07.01 or later) or TZT12F/
16F/19F
• Capable of easy updating to the latest software
• Meets NMEA2000 requirements

• MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identity), ship’s name, call sign
• Types of ship and cargo
• Location of position-fixing antenna on the ship
• Dynamic data
• Ship's position with accuracy indication and integrity status
• Universal Time Coordinated (UTC)
• Course over ground (COG)
• Speed over ground (SOG)
