5. Driving Directions
"W" Mode
"W" mode refers to the winter mode. When the
vehicle is in this mode, the transmission will control
the starting gear automatically to ensure more
stable and softer torque output of the vehicle to
avoid slipping of the vehicle on road with ice and
snow or other slippery roads and help the driver
control the vehicle in snowfield more easily.
Hint
Winter mode will limit the PTO of the engine,
so that it is suggested that the winter
mode should
only be used when driving on road with ice and
snow or other slippery roads; while on other roads,
the winter mode is not recommended, so as to
avoid influencing the drivability and fuel economy.
"E" Mode
The "E" mode is ECO mode. When the vehicle
is in this mode, not only the fuel saving strategy is
applied for the TCU, but the corresponding
economic strategy is adopted for the A/C.
Hint
• When the vehicle enters ECO mode, the
"ECO" indicator light on the instrument cluster
is on.
• ECO mode can
be applied when the shift
lever is at "P, R, N, D" gear, but only works at
“D” gear.
•
The ECO mode has a memory function, that
is, when the engine is restarted after flameout,
the transmission will remain in ECO mode.
“D” Mode
In general, the transmission is in the "D" mode
by default.
"M" Mode
"M" mode refers to the manual mode. When
the shift lever is at "S" gear, press "+/-" in the side
face of the shift lever for upshift/downshift to enter
manual mode. When transmission is running in this
mode, the driver can improve the driving enjoyment
according to road conditions and driving habits.
