Main Menu Tools
Press MENU twice to open the main menu.
Active Route: Displays your active route and any upcoming waypoints (Routes, page14).
Active Weather: Displays the current temperature, temperature forecast, weather forecast, weather radar, cloud
cover, and wind conditions (Viewing an Active Weather Forecast, page26).
Adventures: Displays a list of adventures from the BaseCamp
™
application (Garmin Adventures, page27).
Alarm Clock: Sets an audible alarm. If you are not currently using the navigator, you can set it to turn on at a
specific time.
Altimeter: Displays the elevation over distance traveled (Altimeter, page9).
Area Calculation: Allows you to calculate the size of an area (Calculating the Size of an Area, page28).
Calculator: Displays a calculator.
Calendar: Displays a calendar.
Collections Manager: Displays collections synced from your Garmin Explore account.
Compass: Displays the compass (Compass, page6).
Connect IQ: Displays a list of installed Connect IQ apps (Connect IQ Features, page23).
Course Planner: Displays a list of saved courses and allows you to create new courses (Courses, page19).
Flashlight: Turns on the flashlight (Using the Flashlight, page28).
Geocaching: Displays a list of downloaded geocaches (Geocaches, page28).
Hunt and Fish: Displays the predicted best dates and times for hunting and fishing at your current location.
inReach Remote: Allows you to send messages using your paired inReach
®
satellite communicator (Using the
inReach Remote, page35).
Man Overboard: Allows you to save a man overboard (MOB) location and navigate back to it (Marking and
Starting Navigation to a Man Overboard Location, page32).
Map: Displays the map (Map, page4).
Map Manager: Shows the downloaded map versions. With an Outdoor Maps+ subscription, allows you to
download additional maps (Downloading Maps, page32).
Notifications: Alerts you to incoming calls, texts, social network updates, and more, based on your smartphone
notification settings (Phone Notifications, page23).
Photo Viewer: Displays saved photos.
Profile Change: Allows you to change the profile to customize your settings and data fields for a particular
activity or trip (Selecting a Profile, page33).
Proximity Alarms: Allows you to set alerts to sound within range of particular locations (Setting a Proximity
Alarm, page33).
Recorded Activities: Displays your current activity and a list of recorded activities (Recordings, page16).
Recording Controls: Allows you to view details about the current activity and control the current activity
recording (Viewing the Current Activity, page17).
Route Planner: Displays a list of saved routes and allows you to create new routes (Creating a Route Using
Route Planner, page14).
Satellite: Displays your current GPS satellite information (Satellite Page, page33).
Saved Tracks: Displays a list of saved tracks (Creating a Track from a Saved Activity, page18).
Share Wirelessly: Allows you to wirelessly transfer files to another compatible device (Sending and Receiving
Data Wirelessly, page34).
Sight 'N Go: Allows you to point the navigator at an object in the distance, and navigate using the object as a
reference point (Navigating with Sight 'N Go, page7).
Stopwatch: Allows you to use a timer, mark a lap, and time laps.
Sun and Moon: Displays sunrise and sunset times, along with the moon phase, based on your GPS position.
Trip Computer: Displays the trip computer (Trip Computer, page9).
