RECON Priority Above DATALINK
WF or Later A new feature allows a user the option to run RECON at a higher
priority. Refer to CT9800 Quick Manager User Manual, Direction
17109, Rev. 7 for more information.
Change to Existing (Pre-WF) Manuals: New for WF.
Description: The new option to run RECON at a higher priority above DATALINK
allows batch reconstructions to proceed without interference from
DATALINK. This is particularly useful during the DYNAMIC
scanning of images when DATALINK AUTO TRANSMIT is active.
RECON reprioritization is accessed through the R-level program
REGEN. REGEN displays the current RECON priority and asks for
the new priority setting as follows:
CURRENT RECON PRIORITY SETTING IS: HIGH (or NORMAL)
NEW RECON PRIORITY SETTING, HIGH OR NORMAL? (H/N):
You may change the priority by entering either H or N. As with all
REGEN questions, a <RETURN> indicates no change.
NOTE: When this option is activated, RECON’s priority is elevated above DATALINK and the DC functions
MANAGE, DISPLAY, and REFORMAT. As a result, their operation will be slowed. The higher priority level
is not high enough to interfere with PIPELINE, SCAN, and the OC functions MANAGE, DISPLAY, and
REFORMAT.
