e. When the format portion of the program is done, the program will write and read patterns to the entire
pack looking for bad blocks. Each pass will take approximately 25 minutes, 50 minutes for Dual Drive.
During the course of the program, it is possible to monitor progress by typing L. The following is a typical

If program halts after an error printout, check switch register by typing ’M’ and ensure switch 1 is set to 1
